Nan Sloane is a writer, trainer and speaker with an interest in the role of women in the public space, particularly in politics and the Labour Party.
In 2018 her book, The Women In the Room: Labour’s Forgotten History, was published by I B Tauris (now part of the Bloomsbury group), The book looks at the founding and early years of the Labour Party with women added back into the story. Nan is currently working on a book about radical, reforming and revolutionary women at the turn of the nineteenth century which, all being well, will be published in the summer of 2021.
